## Minimum Qualifications
High school graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a postal environment in order to have the ability to read postal regulations, postage rate charts,addresses and written directions. The ability to compute postage charges, shipping rates and charges for other mail room services. Possess the ability to operate a computer using various pieces of software and email. Perform physically active work requiring frequent standing, reaching, walking, pushing, and bending in order to perform various mail room and mail delivery tasks. Frequent lifting requiring the execution of up to seventy pounds of force to move mail bags, mail tubs, carts and other mail containers. Work in various weather conditions with extremes in heat and cold. Valid Michigan Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the university. Work sample to demonstrate the applicant's ability to perform the duties of the position.
## Desired Qualifications
Basic to intermediate computers skills. Ability to work with email attachments, excel spreadsheets.

To perform a variety of duties that relate to the processing and distribution of daily mail and bulk mailing.

Position Notes: This position is an Oakland University Campus Maintenance and Trades - MEA/NEA position. The incumbent will be represented by the MEA/NEA. This position will remain open a minimum of five (5) working days. External applicants may be considered. Qualified bargaining unit members will receive interviews and initial consideration.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
