Analyze, design, develop, test, and document new and/or enhancements to existing applications using ASP.NET MVC and SQL Server; Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user defined needs; Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results; Troubleshoot application issues and/or data issues as they arise using Visual Studio.NET; Communicate solutions, issues, and risks directly with technical management or other responsible entities to ensure a fully integrated solution across multiple work streams; Participate in requirements definition sessions to gain a general perspective on the business objectives or business problem that is to be addressed by the system; Collaborate with Business Analysts to gain an understanding of functional requirements and develop implementable technical designs; Research and recommend alternative design solutions where appropriate; Analyze requirements, designing and developing prototype and work with the users/business analyst to fine tune the application and make recommendations; Design, code, test, and implement complex programs; Develop appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established IT standards; Create test scenarios and develop test plans to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design using McKesson EC2000 Claims Administrator and Pathway Compliance Advisor; Assist in analyzing testing results throughout the project; Enhance existing systems and participate in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews; Support production systems by helping resolve problems, providing timely follow-up on problem reports using SQL Server Reporting Services, optimizing performance, and streamlining processes; Assist in coordinating development tasks on projects and problem tickets and provide support to other team members; Participate in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried out through the entire project; Provide support, escalate response to production problem issues/errors, and perform root cause analysis and application resolution; Provide on-call, second-level escalation response for client issues and application problem tickets; and Collaborate with work teams, departments, system leadership, staff, other IT groups, and technology vendors to define needs and facilitate solutions

Salary: $82,000 per year
Minimum
Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Programmer Analyst Senior Professional, Software Engineer, or in a related occupation.
Experience must include use of ASP.Net MVC, SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, Visual Studio.NET, McKesson EC2000 Claims Administrator, and Pathway Compliance Advisor.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.
