GENERAL SUMMARY
Plans, coordinates, and directs customer quality management designed to ensure quality control and quality assurance of the production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through department personnel.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES
Leads customer communication interface for company Quality related concerns.
Responsible for department's immediate response for any Quality related concerns at customer location and coordinates any related action and/containment plans.
Ensures that breakpoints of containment are achieved and effectively communicated both internally and with the customer.
Works with Supplier Quality Management group if quality issue is related to component part concern.
Coordinates and/or supports any product re-flash activities at customer locations in the event of a customer plant quality concern.
Monitors and reports out to Executive Management on company's performance at customer locations as well as any significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken to improve situation. Ensures that all key customer location quality performance indicators are achieved.
Schedules and reports to top management and to appropriate NS manufacturing sites on a monthly basis.
Leads monthly quality meetings with internal operations to review such items as customer scorecard/metric performance, open internal quality concerns and action items, customer complaints
Supports customer location quality, program, or launch reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering (MBA Preferred).
3-5 years of work experience in Quality Assurance, should be combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments as a Quality Assurance Manager, satisfying customers in automotive industry.
Work requires leadership skills and the ability to develop and enhance the department and personnel.
Managerial experience in Quality Planning related activities.
Manufacturing and/or Operational experience is strongly preferred.
Must be a self-starter, self-motivator, and a team player.
Work requires computers skills and experience using MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and email/ internet software

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
