POSITION SUMMARY
Delivery of light duty diesel technical training to US market (Cummins experience helpful) to independent repair technicians
GENERAL OVERVIEW
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities
Coordination and delivery of Client technical training requirements to independent repair technician in an after-hours environment at wholesale warehouse or other facility
Delivery of Diesel Technical Training using existing materials
Act in consultation with the Academy team, when liaising with markets or clients over the planning and delivery of technical training programs
Upkeep and maintenance of the training calendar
Coordinate delivery with local wholesalers
Communicate with clients and management regularly by email, and telephone
Ensure all training activities and materials meet with relevant organizational and statutory policies, including health and safety, employment and equality
Carry out development and familiarization tasks as required of training to properly deliver course materials
Required Skills/Experience
Qualified Automotive Technician
Qualified and experienced Technical Trainer with strong light duty diesel experience
Chrysler and/or Cummins experience preferred
Self-starter and can manage own time
Ability to build good rapport and strong relationships
Ability to deliver technical training in a class room
Excellent communication and organizational skills
High energy team player with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to also work on own initiative
A good influencer and motivator
Client-focused with a can do attitude with the ability to identify and incorporate customers? needs and in to each project
Adaptable and flexible
Project Management skills
The ability to write succinctly and accurately, with high attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office applications
Ability to manage and deliver multiple tasks and projects to requirements and absolute deadlines
Must be able to work on own initiative with minimal line management input
Technical Knowledge and Experience of Client products
Broader technical knowledge of general automotive systems and principles.
Knowledge, understanding and experience of automotive computer diagnostic systems and processes
Experience and knowledge of diagnostic equipment and processes
Training experience required
