Bookkeeper
We are looking for a Bookkeeper experienced in payables, spreadsheets, bank recs, receivables, month-end/year-end, Profit & Loss and other accounting tasks; in return we'll offer you a great company and people to work with.
Responsibilities:
o A accounts payable data entry, check/EFT payments and filingo Accounts receivableo Prepare depositso Bank and Payment reconciliationso Enter and reconcile postings in General Ledgero Research invoice discrepancies by reviewing paperwork and files, communicating with the vendor and/or Purchasing Department and, if necessary, consulting with the CFO.
Similarly, review monthly statements, do required research, and coordinate with the vendor to resolve any discrepancies.
o Other related duties as assigned.
o Possess working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
o Answer multi-line phone system

Education & Skills needed to perform this position:
o High School/GED plus 2-5 years of previous bookkeeping or accounting experience, previous bookkeeping or experience in a business settingo Quickbooks - intermediate knowledge of useo Efficient use of MS officeo Organizational, communications, mathematical, and prioritizing skillso Typing 40 words per minuteo 12 key calculator proficiencyAbout Company:
